Mr. Terrance A. Jennings is the Founder & Managing Director of T.A.J & Associates Company Limited (TAJ). TAJ comprises a team of professional business analysts, its information division Caribbean Business Intelligence (CBI), its training division Caribbean Business Institute and its private equity arm Private Enterprises Limited. Mr. Jennings has invested his academic and practical skills, and over thirty years of experience, in all aspects of business development; startups, mergers & acquisitions, in various economic sectors.

Mr. Jennings has designed a comprehensive, open-sourced business internal information system branded “CONTROL”. This system provides effective marketing, administration, legal, finance & accounting services and monitors from Business Plan to Balance Sheet for new operations and from Balance Sheet to Business Plan for existing operations. This management system is also linked to external information designed and maintained by Caribbean Business Intelligence (CBI) since 1996 and promoted as Business Dashboard. CBI tracks and reports on Business & Executives in and around the Caribbean region via its video production Business Light and is used by subscribers to target potential customers, find new suppliers, guide investment decisions and recruit skilled and experienced executives.

Mr. Jennings has designed and structured “CAREER” enhancement programs that focus on Entry Level Positioning, Leadership Post & Business Startup training with common focal points on; analytical thinking, life intangibles and financial skills development. These programs spawned Caribbean Business Institute and its Business Direct products used by numerous educational bodies and the Society for Entrepreneur and Economic Development (SEED).

Mr. Jennings has written and presented numerous Strategic Plans, extracting Prospectuses targeting equity investors and Business Plans to raise debt financing from both local and international financial institutions and has offered many support services, under the brand name “RETURNS”, to generate dividend income and share value growth from all investment activities. He is one of the lead executives in Private Enterprises Fund, managed by Private Enterprises Limited, a group of private equity investors.

Apr - May 2020, Terrance A. Jennings published his previous writings as Business Direct series of e-books on Amazon.

Oct - Dec 2019, Mr. Jennings engaged, designed and wrote a dynamic Strategic Plan for Island Homes Limited (IHome). The focus is To Protect Life, Knowledge, Nutrition, by building Resilient Resources, preserving Economic Activities and rethinking Property Ownership, all with the intention of Surviving the Planet’s Climate Changes.

Aug 2018, Mr. Jennings wrote and published an Op-Ed titled Plastic Revolution researched and commented publicizing solid waste treatment and another Op-Ed titled Your Kitchen Garden using researched, planned, managed and reported on the three years running of his Back Yard Garden.

May 2016, Mr. Jennings delivered a paper as Executive Director - Investor Relations of Private Enterprises Fund, via video conference to potential investors buying into the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. From Sustainable Development to Regulated Success. Vision 10 Yrs.

Since 2011, Mr. Jennings is engaging efforts to bring the Micro-Enterprise program, CONTROL and Business Direct under a Draft Enterprise Development through Business Incubation Policy Document which led to National Integrated Business Incubation System (IBIS) type of program, supervised by SEED members.

2008, here is Mr. Jennings speaking to New Electrical Engineers in T&TEC Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission about Life Intangibles and Confidence.



Mr. Jennings designed, developed and presented CONTROL a full computerized management system to enter, maintain and report on all business transactions and linked records, to the Board of Directors of NEDCO the National Entrepreneurship Development Company Limited.


Mr. Jennings was one of the originators of the Micro-Enterprise program and the first coordinator, designing and presenting Training the Business Tutors, a current course at YTEPP the Youth Training & Employment Partnership Programme.

Mr. Jennings presented a paper titled, Small and Medium Enterprises and Exporting, to the T&T Prime Minister’s Forum on Small & Medium Enterprises, as a guest speaker of SBDC Small Business Development Company Limited.

In 1993, Mr. Jennings served the Trinidad &Tobago Unit Trust Corporation in launching its Chaconia Income & Growth US$ based Fund “Chaconia” at home and in numerous Caribbean Territories.
