Society’s Problems; crime, the wealth gap, unemployment levels, traffic jams, and much that negatively impacts the majority of the population, are described, in general, as issues which hinder positive social development. Understanding such issues is a first step in working out very crucial and essential solutions. The minority report will always offer blame and fixes, which benefit the few rather than the many. However, most of the people that, face such issues on a daily basis, also have opinions, based on facts, which may work. Workers' Unions

The mission is and has always been to negotiate the best employment terms and conditions for union members. This is mostly done under the Industrial Relations Laws, through the collective bargaining process. Generally, the resulting collective employment contract relates to only one entity, organization, operation, or company, not the entire industry or sector. However, the industry leader's collective agreement, with what should be the industry largest union, would naturally have an effect on other organizations within that sector. It is the monopolistic operation which presents the greatest challenge. Hence, very simplistic solutions, would be to breakup all monopolies and to transition workers into owners.

Public Service vs Political Loyalty

The importance of balance and fairness is the underlying strength of a nation and must be known and respected by every member of that society. Democratically elected political representatives, policy-makers, law-makers, and appointed executives, who oversee implementation, are vital to the process. Noting that, the true work is done by the permanent staff in the public service. Hence, policies and directives, crafted by such politicians, are at the very root of strong enforceable laws. While, the execution, implementation and reporting documentation, is done by permanent staff. Members of society, therefore, must understand the powers that politicians have and do not have, and where control legally exist. For example, it is the security services that maintain order and the judiciary that enforces existing laws, with permanent skilled employees, keeping the peace in the society.
