Data, much of the issues surrounding renewable energy, in many geographic
jurisdictions, is legal, not commercial. Existing laws prohibit private
electricity generation and supply, with additional regulations hindering usage.
Public Policies in small territories, based on depleting fossil fuels and a
single owner/operator of the nation’s Generation Plant and Distribution Grid,
is outdated. It is critical, with today’s threats and needed security, at a
very minimum to double the supply required to fill the current measures
demanded. Noting that, it is (Future
of Electricity) now physically possible for low capacity generators,
located on the same compound, to supply; hospitals, schools, playgrounds, with
the sale of excess capacity available to the larger grid.
An Apolitical Conservative
Ten Year Budget, constantly reviewed, prioritized, measured and reported by an
independent Office of Budgets, is driven by the rate of available
revenue receipts. Noting that, when such core revenue is down, borrowings, with
interest payments are incurred, further increasing expenditure. Hence, when
revenue is up debt should be the first to be reduced. However, many persons seem
to expect more expenditure without deficit reduction. This is another attempt
to explain to ordinary people things taken for granted. Resource
Preservation, Human Development, Infrastructure Management, Economic Drivers, Fiscal
Policy and Governance.
We speak to Entrepreneurs (Risks Takers), common people who are the very
source of ideas. Ideas to better lives and lifestyles, moving the existing into
future fantasy. Teaching such persons to, firstly, take care of themselves
before others; family, friends, employees, community, etc. Secondly, to create,
design, analyze and produce a sound Strategic Plan to move the idea into
industry. And Finally, to gather the much-needed guidance and support to
incubate and market test the implementation to the next revenue generating stage.
Much more than raising funds, attracting investment and loans, is the growth
and development of the Idea-Promoter, to hire and trust a management team.
Criticisms from far and wide, from expert and lay
persons, must be welcome into the Intelligence. Actionable
Intelligence, using all currently stored information, to make and grade decisions. Decisions, which are communicated along
the lines of the organizational chart and constantly reviewed policies to benefit all stakeholders. Such Policies will communicate all decisions and results, via the Strategic Plan,
on any
particular issue, and must undergo frequent examination of individual policies
or re-examination of the very Business Model by the Board of Directors. The Directorate must issue such instructions
to promote, future improvements and increase efficiencies, and to encourage all
stakeholders to participate in always seeking better results.
